Shar Rai, D.C. has dedicated her mission in life to serve humanity through healing. She is a wellness-oriented, subluxation-based Chiropractor, Corporate Wellness Specialist, SoulFull Coach, and Energy Healer. Dr. Shar Rai has been practicing for over 22 years with a particular interest in the mind-body-spirit connection and believes that this is the key to wholehearted living. Taking care of her patients with this in mind allows her to help them along their journey of healing and transformation. Dr. Shar Rai is also the co-founder of The Empowerment Project, a science-based mindfulness program that is currently being taught in selected corporations and educational facilities. (drsharrai.ca)

Goal

To drive awareness for the “new Dr. Shar” and re-introduce her to existing clients as someone offering not only medical healing – but spiritual as well. Shar wanted to attract patients that are open to different types of healing, educate older patients on new age methods of spiritual healing, and how connecting the mind, body, and spirit can transform a person wholeheartedly. Dr. Shar wanted consumers to recognize her brand, bring science and spirituality together, and attract consumers who strive for spiritual & overall wellness.

Dr. Shar’s secondary goal was to drive sales in new services: Energy Healing, and SoulFull Coaching (life coaching with measured results).

Approach

Although Dr. Shar’s original goal was to target clients broadly; after we determined her goals of driving brand awareness and sales we concluded it would be best to narrow the target segment due to the services offered being niche. After a few coffee dates, together we were able to determine:

  • the psychographic analysis of the target consumer;
  • branding to resonate with target segment;
  • pricing options, promotions, etc. to drive sales and capture new patients;
  • creating content that resonates with the target segment.
Achievements
  • Grew Instagram following by +300 users within first 3 months of managing social media and creating content.
  • By narrowing the target client segment and selecting millennials & gen z users in the Greater Toronto Area who are more open minded to how spirituality and science can co-exist, we were able to drive significant social media results since it is a niche service. We used targeted paid ads and relevant social media tags to discover who in that demographic was ready to invest in their physical, spiritual, and mental health.
  • Within first 4 months, Facebook Page reach increased by 805% and Instagram reach increased by 16% compared to previous month.
